As a lifelong student, I have always been interested in learning about my fellow humans, and my journey has taken me to many different paths. I was born an raised in Hungary, and came to the United States after finishing college with a degree in education.
Working with children is my calling. I have been a Montessori teacher, and served in various other educational settings for 20 years. As I worked with hundreds of children and families in my career, I saw more and more need to support my students not only academically but socially and emotionally on a deeper level than all teachers do every day. Eventually I went back to school and got my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and slowly transitioned first to a school counselor position and then to work full time as a child therapist. I deeply care about and would like to support children in their social and emotional development and be an ally when challenges and difficulties arise. My emphasis has always been on giving children my full attention, respecting their personalities and interests and helping them reach their full potential while collaborating with their parents and families.
“It takes a village to raise a child.” In our fast paced, busy lives where parents often lack the help of extended family, we do need the support of others to navigate through the ups and downs of raising our future generation. For children, it is important to have adults beside family members who can support them through their early life challenges, lessons and transitions. It has been my privilege to be that trusted and caring adult in the lives of many children whom I have had the privilege of working with throughout my career.Csilla Vegvari

I incorporate Mindfulness and Balance in everything I do, and I am happy to share these skills with my clients. Practicing mindfulness is a skill which helps us become more aware of our mind, body and our relationships with our fellow human beings on a deeper level. Mindfulness helps us stay in the present, pay attention and regulate emotions. Finding balance is a goal which requires continuous reflection. It is a journey. Just like learning a balancing pose in yoga, balance in life takes practice, focus and strength.

My other interests are taking long walks and hikes in nature, learning about the human energy field through Reiki and other healing modalities, and finding the beauties and little miracles of everyday life.
